Tucked away in the Brecon Beacons, this smart pub is mostly devoted to dining. "Chef-owner Matt Tebbutt is very young and trained under Alistair Little," says Diana. "His cooking is so good that, half the time, you just stop with your fork in mid-air - what has he done to the sorbets to make them so intense? How come his risottos have such perfect texture?" Dishes are "mostly French- and Italian-influenced stuff, but a bit of the East as well".
